Hubby Approved: GQ and Gap Special Menswear Collection

While women’s wear fashion dominates the globe, menswear is quickly becoming more and more prevalent. Guys want options too, fashionable ones at that.

To be quite honest, menswear designers aren’t given as much praise. They are an anomaly that only those who truly appreciate the craft of clothing design wait in anticipation for twice a year to show off their goods at men’s fashion week.

Yet, these designers aren’t necessarily going unnoticed. Every man’s handbook to style and luxe lifestyle, GQ, is known to celebrate these labels with their Best New Menswear Designers in America Project. It gives hopefuls a platform to shine and showcase their talent. Alongside being recognized by GQ, having a spread in the publication, and attending a swanky party in honor of their work, this year’s winners (John Elliott of John Elliott + Co, John Moore of M.Nii, Daniel Lewis of Brooklyn Tailors and Rob Garcia of En Noir) had the opportunity of a lifetime—a chance to design a limited-edition GQ and Gap collection. How dope?
