Knicks Baller Iman Shumpert Could Be Your New Favorite Rapper

After winning his first Emmy, a Grammy might be next on the list of accolades for NBA player, Iman Shumpert. We’ve seen him conquer the court with his team, The New York Knicks now it’s time to hear him drop a quick 16 in a freestyle cover of Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type.”

Shumpert opens:

“I aint got no type/ But playing for the tape we get whatever girl we like
You ain’t got no life/Worry about what we do, how the hell that’s gon suffice?”

Shumpert released his debut mixtape, 2wo 1ne in late 2012, and since has sporadically dropped a slew of covers and freestyles. His most notable to date has been his freestyle to Migos’ “Versace.”

We’re not sure what his future career as a rapper may look like however, we won’t be surprised to see another mixtape coming from him soon. Watch the music video to the track up top.
