Michael Phelps To Enter Rehab Program
Following his second arrest for DUI, Michael Phelps has announced the he will be entering a rehab program.
Over the weekend, the Olympic swimmer made the announcement via Twiiter. "I am extremely disappointed with myself. I'm going to take some time away to attend a program that will provide the help I need to better understand myself," Tweeted Phelps.
On Sept, 30, the 18-time gold medalist was arrested in Maryland after a gambling binge at a local casino. When the cops pulled his vehicle over, Michael was visibly impaired and admitted to drinking before before getting behind the wheel.
He added, "Swimming is a major part of my life, but right now I need to focus my attention on me as an individual, and do the necessary work to learn from this experience and make better decisions in the future."
