Rick Ross Says Meek Mill Will Be ‘On His Makaveli’ After Jail

The bawse Rick Ross stopped by Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez show to talk his upcoming album, Hood Billionaire. The MMG boss also talked his prospects of becoming an actual billionaire and Meek Mill’s impending return from jail, which he believes will inspire new music.

“I’m pretty sure he gonna have some things he wanna talk about. So when the homie comes home, I expect the homie to wanna go in and just go on his Makaveli,” Ross told Martinez. “It doesn’t happen for everybody, but the artists that you anticipate off the jump – Dreams Worth Money, this was something that the streets is waiting for this whole year. So for this to happen, and to see the streets support him, ride with him and rock with him the way they been doing while he been down, you can’t help but get the feeling that when he come home, it’s gonna be something that we ain’t seen yet.”

Rick Ross also described what his upcoming Hood Billionaire project will sound like. Likening it to a bossy scene, the rapper/mogul painted quite the picture for the Nov. 24 release.

“This just gloves off, Ricky Rizzle, you know what I’m talkin’ about,” he explained. “Shoes untied, sitting on the trunk, watching the cars go by and giving them that street talk on this. This is that Geechi Liberachi to the finest, gold ring on every finger, busting the bottles, letting the Belaire run down the watch.”

As for the likelihood of Ross becoming a billionaire himself, the MMG bossman was confident. Asked where he sees himself in the grand scheme of hip-hop’s richest, Rozay assured that he takes pointers from his peers Jay Z and Diddy.

“I absorb game. Jay brought me to New York and signed me to Def Jam Records. Puff was one of the first dudes that showed me what a real bag of money look like.”
