‘Ted 2′ Fires Stephen Collins Amidst Sexual Molestation Confession


Stephen Collins, the beloved Rev. Eric Camden on 7th Heaven has been fired from the cast of Ted 2 amidst recent child molestation recording made public.

Collins was set to play a small role in the Seth McFarlane comedy, which is currently in production. VIBE.com reported the 67-year-old actor admitted to his estranged wife Faye Grant that he exposed himself and or molested several underage girls years prior. The couple went to therapy where Grant secretly recorded Collins who detailed all the encounters with the young girls, some of whom were as young as 11 years old.

According to California law, Its legal for Grant to secretly tape record Collins if to gather evidence for violent felony. Although Collins has not been charged with a crime, a recording of him admitting to the crime, which first appeared on TMZ, was enough for Universal Pictures and McFarlane to let go of Collins.
