Teaser: Daft Punk Goes Mt. Rushmore In Pharrell’s ‘Gust Of Wind’

Pharrell’s not done releasing visuals from his GIRL album just yet.

After dropping off the video for “It Girl” earlier this week, the producer/singer/everything else now teases a less than half-minute clip of “Gust Of Wind,” his latest collaboration with Daft Punk. During a mysterious 26 seconds, Skateboard P (clad in his Vivienne Westwood hat), roams the forest to find two large stone fixtures that resemble the masked duo. No one knows what it means, but it’s provocative.

Pharrell and Daft Punk have failed to disappoint thus far with any of their team-ups, ruling last year with their smash “Get Lucky.” And while the super producer musical extraordinaire’s “Gust Of Wind” may be more of a sneaky killer, the violin-laden groove is no less funky than their previous offerings.

The “Gust Of Wind” video was directed by Edgar Wright. No word on when the full clip will drop.
