Will Packer Sells Comedy Series ‘Like Father, Like Son’ to NBC

Will Packer has turned his introduction into fatherhood into a sitcom. The Think Like a Man producer recently sold his comedy project Like Father, Like Son to NBC Universal.

Written by Michael Pennie, the show is an autobiographical account from actual events that happened in Packer’s life. The storyline follows a newly divorced man in his early thirties. He’s starting to reap the benefits of being young, single, and successful when he learns he fathered a child after a one-night stand in college.

If his show is anything like his films, prepare for a Packer TV takeover. Like Father, Like Son is the third TV deal he’s inked. His company has an Uncle Buck remake at ABC and comedy #PeopleAreTalking at NBC.
