Paul Wall Kindly Asks For ‘No Favors’

Music

Houston’s Paul Wall has never needed handouts. He’s done just fine without them. On his latest track “No Favors,” produced by June James, the rapper contorts his voice beyond his usual slow crawl into something that hits the ground running from the word go. The almost circus-like production from James reestablishes the idea that as long as Wall’s been in the game, he’s been a beloved Texas rap legend. One who could ask for 700% if need be. Paul’s next album The Po Up Poet is due in December.
