Bill Cosby's Nephew Speaks Out On Sexual Assault Claims
What Bill Cosby won't say, Braxton Cosby will.
Bill Cosby's nephew speaks out on sexual assault claims that have come from over ten women in an interview with Farrah Gray, and says he believes his uncle will not come out to address the allegations. While Bill has remained mum on the ongoing stories throughout the weeks, his nephew Braxton believes he is innocent and "unless the judicial system can prove otherwise," stands behind his uncle and his contributions.
Braxton, CEO and co-founder of Cosby Media Productions, was asked to consider if the allegations towards Bill Cosby were similar to that of a "modern day media lynching."
“I would be more inclined to compare it to the passage in the Bible where the people of the village were about to stone the woman caught in adultery and Jesus challenged them by saying that the person who without sin should cast the first stone," Bill Cosby's nephew said. "The one difference in this case being that the woman was caught in the act and her accusers brought her forward.”
Braxton later spoke on the effects the allegations have on the family, giving his own experience with the ordeal sharing,
"Well, for me personally, it has allowed me to see some people in a different light. The Bible says that brothers are born on adversity and a friend loves at all times. I’ve seen the true faces of a few friends around me and that is OK because it is necessary. But, at the same time, I’ve been given a lot of love and warm wishes by acquaintances over social media and they have really shown their appreciation to the contributions of my uncle."
