Drake And Diddy Apparently Fought Over The ‘0 To 100’ Beat
Is the “0 to 100” beat worth fighting over? Diddy seems to have thought so.
According to TMZ, producer Boi-1da gave Diddy and Drake the soundscape 8 months ago, but reportedly the Toronto native became impatient waiting for the mogul's verse and decided to release the song to commercial success. When the artists met up at LIV in Miami, Diddy allegedly said “You’ll never disrespect me again,” and then threw a punch at the YMCMB member, who was later rushed to the hospital for a shoulder re-injury due to the tussle.
The beat in question? Drake’s now Grammy-nominated “0 to 100,” Miss Info confirms:
According to an insider, the beat that caused this whole dispute is actually “0-100” by Boi-1da. Apparently Diddy was given that beat first, eventually sent it to Drake to put a verse on it, but as we all know Drake released “0-100” as a freestyle using the beat instead. Mr. X reports that the beat was made during a series of sessions in Miami where Puff flew Boi-1da down…but turned down the beat. Which would make it up for grabs.
Apparently, the night of their fight was the first time Diddy and Drake occupied the same room. When the confrontation took place, Drizzy attempted to dismiss Diddy, and the rap mogul – obviously – wasn’t having it.
Reports also confirm that Drake did indeed land in the hospital, as the altercation re-injured his shoulder, which was previously hurt.
