Iggy Azalea Fires Back At Her Black Culture Apathy Critics

Yesterday was an emotionally charged one for the hip hop community. Shortly after New York City announced that the police officer responsible for the death of Eric Garner via illegal chokehold would not be indicted, the masses became furious, protesting nationwide and searching for support from hip hop’s higher ups. Certain artists were on people’s radars more than other, such as Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber and floating target Iggy Azalea. One Twitter user (among many) called Azalea out for diving head first into hip hop culture yet being mute about the outcomes of the Ferguson and Eric Garner decisions. Iggy Azalea, furious at the mention, came back swinging.

Hmm… Before logging off for the evening (and thanking the Azaleans who caped for her and barked back against the critic), Iggy left some final thoughts about the masses looking to celebrities for responses via social media on big racial issues.
