Could The Next Step In the Lil Wayne Vs. Cash Money Debacle Be A Lawsuit?

Drama continues to brew in one of hip hop’s favorite camps. Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V is still hanging in limbo after Cash Money Records pushed back the album’s release date. Weezy voiced his desire to part ways with the Cash Money family due to creative differences, but Birdman reportedly refused to release him due to contractual obligations. According to TMZ, Wayne is threatening to take legal action. The gossip site alleges Tunechi will sue to leave Cash Money altogether if Tha Carter V doesn’t get released very soon. By the looks of things, Baby is unbothered.

However, there may be a silver lining from this family fallout. Young Money affiliate Fee Banks confirmed that while Wayne’s album is on the backburner, the self-proclaimed Greatest Rapper Alive is working on a Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape.
