Lil’ Wayne Confirms Cash Money Tweets On Stage

In case you thought Lil’ Wayne’s Twitter account might have been hacked the other day, it wasn’t.

The Young Money general took the stage at VICE’s 20th birthday bash in Brooklyn last night (Dec. 5), and reiterated sentiments about not being pleased with his Cash Money label. Stating that he is in a “bad situation,” Wayne told his fans that he “will be out of it soon.”

“And I do it for y’all. So put your motherfuckin’ fives up for Carter V,” he encouraged the crowd.

Meanwhile, over 1,000 Weezy fans have signed an online petition to plead that the rapper’s fifth Carter opus drops before the Christmas holiday.

“We the fans have truly been looking forward to a new release and hope you will reconsider your decision not to release it,” it reads.

TMZ caught up with Lil’ Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant following the rapper’s Twitter rant. Bryant alleged that everything was “good,” but Wayne doesn’t seem to think so. Tha Carter V was slated to drop this Tuesday, Dec. 9.
