Pharrell Honored With Star On The Hollywood Walk of Fame

Pharrell Williams earned the honor of a lifetime when he received his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday. (Dec. 4)

The Grammy-award winning recording artist, producer, philanthropist and entertainer received the accolade in the category of recording and was introduced by dear friend Ellen DeGeneres, who he thanked as the first person to play his inescapable hit “Happy.”

In his acceptance speech, Skateboard P thanked teachers, anyone who he’s worked with that helped catapult his career, friends and family. To help celebrate the grand achievement, P’s mother, father and brother were on hand, along with his wife, model Helen Lasichanh, and their 6-year-old son Rocket.

The Academy-Award nominees’ star is the 537th star on the boulevard and the fourth of any rapper.

Congrats to Pharrell. Well deserved.
