Quvenzhane Wallis (And All Her Cuteness) Is Nominated For A Golden Globe Award
It's winding down to be a big year for the pint-sized starlet with a love for puppy dog purses. Quvenzhane Wallis, the 11-year-old who first snatched our hearts in Beasts of the Southern Wild, is back to shut it down with her Annie role. The family friendly flick, which hits theaters Dec. 19, has earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance By An Actress In A Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical).
In addition to Miss Wallis' placement, the folks behind Selma are also making headlines. The film has secured nominations for Best Motion Picture (Drama), Best Performance By Actor In A Motion Picture, Best Director and Best Original Song. On the TV series end, Viola Davis was nominated for Best Actress for How To Get Away With Murder.
