The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 2015 Class Will Not Include N.W.A.

The guys from Straight Outta Compton just received some not-so-historic news.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame won’t add N.W.A. into its 2015 class, which marks the second time the group was considered and passed up as inductees. Other acts that weren’t selected include Sting, The Spinners, Nine Inch Nails and Chic. Those who will grace the entity’s coveted title are Lou Reed, Green Day, Bill Withers and more.

In a statement released by the foundation’s president, Jim Peresman said, “As we mark 30 years of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions, we’re proud to honor these artists. These Inductees epitomize Rock & Roll’s impact over the past 50 years and continuing through today.”
