Tyrese, Kevin McCall And More Hit The Streets For ‘Black Out Hollywood’ Protest In L.A.

In light of the deaths of Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice and the slew of other black men killed at the hands of police officers – and their non-indictment by grand juries – Tyrese, Brandon T. Jackson, Kevin McCall, Logan Laurice and other stars took to Hollywood Boulevard in protest this afternoon (Dec. 6). Dubbed “Black Out Hollywood,” demonstrators in the area were asked to meet for a peaceful protest while donning all black clothing. Employing chants, die-ins, and even song, the protest was also in connection to a man who was shot and killed by LAPD the previous night.
