Victoria Beckham Raises Funds and Awareness for World AIDS Day With a Custom T-Shirt
Although it's been awhile since we've seen Victoria Beckham on a global platform supporting girl power with The Spice Girls, she's back supporting AIDS by raising funds and awareness.
Most recently, the designer has put her creative ability to work for the sake of human welfare concerning the UN AIDS Fund. With her new title of UN International Goodwill Ambassador, Beckham has created a custom t-shirt in honor of World AIDS Day with all proceeds going to the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS to support their efforts in ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030.
Victoria's spoke on her quest for ending AIDS stating, "As a woman and a mother I have a responsibility to support other women. I need to use what I have to make a difference. Every woman out there has the right to health and the right to give her children a healthy future. Children, babies, should not be born with HIV, and we can stop that. We are very, very close to stopping that which is why I’m sitting here now. We can’t give up, we have to keep going, we are so close."
Vixens, unfortunately the t-shirts have sold out online already, but if you happen to live across the pond or plan on visiting London soon Beckham's store has them for purchase.
