Wu-Tang Pays Tribute To Mike Brown, Eric Garner And Other Victims With ‘A Better Tomorrow’

Unfortunate current events take center stage in Wu-Tang’s visuals for their latest album’s title track, “A Better Tomorrow.” Featuring protests that have sparked across the nation in response to the deaths of Mike Brown and Eric Garner – and the subsequent non-indictment of their killers – the video makes for the song’s perfect accompaniment.

The member of the Wu-Tang Clan skip appearances in the four-minute clip for the sake of a larger message. The poignant compilation of chanting in the streets and President Obama’s comments following Brown’s death weave in and out of the track, which samples Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes’ “Wake Up Everybody.”

“This visual was created by Wu-Tang Clan in the hopes of inspiring change and promoting unity throughout the world,” the video’s description reads.
