Bobby Shmurda Has One Less Case To Worry About
Things are looking up for Bobby Shmurda. After a whirlwind year of Shmoney Dancing and tossing hats up in the year without a chance of return, by 2014's end, the Brooklyn rapper was in the slammer.
Shmurda, real name Ackquille Pollard, and his GS9 crew were arrested last month (Dec. 17) in New York City for a multitude of charges, including conspiracy, criminal possession of a weapon, use of drug paraphernalia, assault, attempted murder and more. Bobby in particular, however, was only facing charges for conspiracy, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia. Was.
According to Revolt, Bobby's Brooklyn gun case will be dropped. The case alleged that he fired a gun into a crowd outside of a barber shop. In a separate incident, police seized two loaded firearms and narcotics paraphernalia inside a Brooklyn house.
"Brooklyn D.A. office announced that the gun case in Brooklyn will be dismissed in about two weeks," Shmurda's attorney, Howard Greenberg, confirmed after clearing up jail brawl rumors for Revolt. "Brooklyn is done and now it’s on to Manhattan, where we need to teach these adversaries a lesson."
Greenberg's chance to teach those adversaries is on Jan. 29, during Bobby's trial date.
