Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson Bring Their Uptown Funk To Ellen

Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson brought the funk to Ellen’s studio audience Tuesday (Jan. 13) during their live performance of their hit “Uptown Funk.”

Dressed in a red blazer, snap back and black shades, Bruno and his band kicked off their performance in the studio audience and then mozied on down to the stage where Ellen joined in and showed off her little two-step.

Ronson told the Daily Mail his latest album Uptown Special was inspired by and dedicated to friend and former collaborator Amy Winehouse who died from a drug overdose in 2011.

“This album is dedicated to the memory of Teenie Hodges and DJ Mehdi and to Amy Winehouse – although I wish you were still here, I’m always thinking of you, inspired by you and your music lives on in myself and everyone who ever felt it. Love, Mark.”
