F.D.A. Admits 70% of Chicken Contains Cancer-Causing Arsenic
Uh oh. The Food and Drug Administration has admitted that 70% of U.S. store-bought chicken contains cancer-causing Arsenic. It’s purposely added to chicken feed to give grocery store chicken the illusion of healthy coloring and plump appearance, but in high dosages it can kill you.
Despite the F.D.A. admitting Arsenic in chickens is safe to consume due to the low levels, it has been clinically proven to be extremely toxic to human health, causing neurological defects in developing fetuses and young children.
However there are a few tips for those that still want to buy the chicken, but avoid the risk. One, if the chicken meat is a bright pink color, avoid at all costs. Two, make sure that chicken’s fat content is white to deep yellow, not gray or pasty. Three, check the date, and four, aim for “Certified Organic” meat products. It’s probably safest choice for you and your family.
