Chris Brown Gets ID Stolen + Postpones Tour
Chris Brown, who can never seem to catch a break, is now the victim of a identity theft.
That’s right. It seems as though Breezy’s prison identification card (from when he was at San Bernardino County Prison for a brief time), was being hawked on the internet for upwards of $10,000.
The owner of the stolen ID posted a picture of it on Facebook, and began taking bids. Thanks to his loyal fans, word of the ID and sale quickly got back to Brown. His lawyer Mark Geragos has launched an investigation as to how the ID got out of the possession of prison officials, and who exactly it was trying to pawn the ID.
Keeping the back luck train going, Brown also announced that the Between the Sheets Tour with Trey Songz and Tyga has to be postponed because a California judge denied his travel request. The tour was supposed to kick off today in Hampton, Virginia, but until Brown finishes his last 100 hours of community service, the Judge won’t budge. Brown took to Instagram to apologize to fans, saying:
“I promise that I am busting my ass doing it everyday until it's complete. This is the most disappointing news I've gotten in a while. Everything happens for a reason so I wanted to personally inform my fans. The show must go on. Out of 1000 hours I only have 100 left. I will work my ass off to complete it and I will be on that stage.”
We hope things turn around for you Chris!
