Danny Brown Penning A Book To Boost Children's Self-Esteem
Danny Brown is for the kids.
While preparing his follow-up to 2013's Old album, the Detroit rapper is also penning a Dr. Seuss-inspired children's book. Danny revealed the news during an interview with Triple J. Also during the interview, Brown said that he was inspired by his 13-year-old daughter to pen the motivational literature.
"You know how Black women do so much," Brown said. "Process their hair, change their eye color -- it's really about a little girl who does all these things to herself and changes herself and she realizes she's just better off the way she is."
He continued, "I've got to finish it though, I want it to be real Dr. Seuss-y. The Grinch, Green Eggs And Ham, and One Fish, Two Fish. Ehat was going on in that guy's brain to be able to write those things?"
Danny Brown also revealed that he's worked with Alchemist, Paul White and SKYWLKR on his yet-titled forthcoming album.
