Kid Cudi Reacts To Kendrick Lamar’s Ferguson Views: ‘Don’t Talk Down On The Black Community’

Kendrick Lamar’s recent thoughts on the killing of Mike Brown ruffled a few feathers yesterday, leading to a feud between Lupe Fiasco and Azealia Banks. In his cover story interview with Billboard, the Compton rapper commented that the issues surrounding the case start from “within” the black community. “What happened to [Michael Brown] should’ve never happened,” he said. “Never. But when we don’t have respect for ourselves, how do we expect them to respect us? It starts from within. Don’t start with just a rally, don’t start from looting — it starts from within.” After garnering responses from Lupe and Banks, Kid Cudi also chimed in with his reaction to K. Dot’s quote:

Asked by a fan where his bashing of Kid Cudi came from, Lupe Fiasco recalled a past issue between himself and the Cleveland rapper:
