Legendary Diana Ross Will Head To Vegas To Begin Mini-Residency
Las Vegas is turning into R&B diva central.
Just a few weeks after of reports that Mariah Carey will call Las Vegas home for a while, the Las Vegas Sun reports news rolls in that the legendary Diana Ross has signed on for nine performances in April. As of April 1st—and no not an April Fool’s Day Joke—Ross will begin her new mini-residency contract at the Venetian in Vegas.
“Las Vegas attracts the biggest names in the world, so it is only fitting that one of the most remarkable entertainers of all time brings her talent to a uniquely intimate stage,” John Nelson, senior VP of AEG Las Vegas, told the Las Vegas Sun. “This limited engagement will allow audience members an unforgettable experience with a living legend.”
Ms. Diana Ross is promising to return to the stage with her hit Motown classics like “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” topped with lots of jaw dropping costumes the diva is known for. After the legend completes her run, follow up residencies include Janet Jackson, Lionel Richie and Ricky Martin.
We think it’s time to move to Las Vegas, right Vixens?
