Marshawn Lynch Has Officially Won Super Bowl Media Day
Marshawn Lynch had but one thing to say to reporters at this year’s Super Bowl Media Day: “I’m here so I won’t get fined.” Notoriously reticent towards the media, the Seattle Seahawks running back employed the same remark to reporters over 25 times today (Jan. 27). Warning that he would only be giving that response to all questions posed, Lynch was forthcoming before his public (and hilarious) repetition. “Aye, I’m just here so I don’t get fined. So y’all can sit here and ask me all the questions y’all want to. I’m gonna answer with the same answer, so y’all can shoot if y’all please.” After being hit with a $20,000 fine for grabbing his crotch during the NFC Championships, Lynch was reportedly threatened with a whopping $500K fine by the NFL if he did not show up for Media Day. He reportedly sat for his required 4.5 minutes before leaving the interviews. SEE ALSO: Jimmy Fallon Recruits Ariana Grande, Kevin Hart And Will Ferrell For Super Bowl Special On ‘Tonight Show’
