Mike Huckabee Says Beyonce's Music Is 'Mental Poison'
The only time Beyoncé's name and poison shared the same sentence was when fans were belting out her song of the same title from the album I Am Sasha Fierce, but not this time. The former governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee, doesn't understand how the Barack and Michelle Obama can allow their daughters to listen to the "mental poison" that is Beyoncé's music.
Huckabee shared his views on the first family supporting the singer on ABC's show This Week. "It was President Obama who said in an interview with 'Glamour' that some of the lyrics he won't listen to with his daughter because it embarrasses him," and he later continues with, "They're great parents, they're careful about making sure that their kids get a lot of vegetables and eat right, that's terrific." He also added,"Well, what you put in your brain is also important as well as what you put into your body, and that was my point based on what the president himself said."

Huckabee has a book coming out named God, Guns, Grits, and Gravy where his discusses more of his views about Queen Bey as well as his thoughts on her relationship with Jay-Z. He accuses HOV of "crossing the line from husband to pimp by exploiting his wife as a sex object."
Although Mike insists Beyoncé is an amazing artist, he just doesn't believe her lyrics are "wholesome."
