T-Boz and Chilli to Record One More Album, Making It the Final from TLC
You want it, you got it! Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas are set to record their last album under the name TLC and they're calling all their fans from, Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip to 3D for help. The duo have launched a campaign in hopes of raising $150,000 to kick off the creation of their final project on their "own terms," and by the looks of it, the album will happen.
The page features their accolades as one of the best-selling female groups of all time, rewards for fans who donate towards the project, mentions of Kandi Burress and of course, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. "Of course, Lisa's spirit will always be present in our music. That will never change" reads one of the captions on the page.
Donations as small as $5 give fans the chance to vote on a classic TLC track that will be remixed, or if you're feeling friendly and have $5,000-$7,500 to spare, you'll be granted a chance at a slumber party with one of the two remaining members. If you thought TLC didn't have any die-hard fans left in 2015, guess again. After its launch, T-Boz and Chilli have already raised over $100k with 28 days left to go. Dayyyum.
