Bobby Brown Requests ‘Privacy’ For Bobbi Kristina
Bobby Brown has released a statement regarding his daughter, Bobbi Kristina. the 21-year-old was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Georgia home on Saturday (Jan. 31), and has reportedly been in the ICU and on a ventilator at North Fulton Hospital. Brown simply asked for privacy for his family.
"Privacy is requested in this matter," he said. "Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."
Bobby Brown's lawyer, Christopher Brown, also offered a brief statement. Only confirming that Bobbi Kristina has been hospitalized, he neglected to offer any additional information.
"The report that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia is accurate. No additional information will be forthcoming."
Bobbi Kristina has reportedly been placed in a medically-induced coma, due to brain swelling. According to TMZ, she is also showing “alarmingly low” brain activity. Bobbi Kristina's bathtub incident occurred two weeks ahead of the three-year anniversary of the death of her mother, Whitney Houston.
