Kanye West Brought Out Fetty Wap And The G.O.O.D. Music Family At The Roc City Classic

Kanye West and his signature red backdrop lit up Manhattan’s Flatiron District last night (Feb. 12). The first annual Roc City Classic—created by Jay Z and his Roc Nation label—took place in Madison Square Park where the usual quiet of the neighborhood was interrupted by the likes of Kanye West, Travis $cott, Fetty Wap, Pusha T, Big Sean and 2 Chainz. Angie Martinez, Skylar Diggins and Kevin Durant took the stage to host (and distract) the crowd from the stalled entrance of the performers. After Ye’s highly-anticipated release of his new Adidas collab Yeezy 750 boot and new song “Wolves” with Sia and Vic Mensa just hours before, the nine degree weather didn’t seem to bother the Kanye stans. Shortly after Travis $cott graced the stage with his hit “Mamacita,” a blood red light stained the surrounding atmosphere. Kanye emerged from the cut to perform Yeezus cuts “Black Skinhead,” “New Slaves” and “Blood On The Leaves,” and brought out fellow track mates for “Mercy.” After he admitted his co-sign for Fetty Wap, he brought of the Jersey rapper to perform his well-known hit “Trap Queen.” He set off his finale with the touching dedication to his mother and daughter, “Only One.”
