Zendaya Diss: Kelly Osbourne Reportedly Quits ‘Fashion Police’

Movies & TV

Kelly Osbourne will no longer grace your television screen with the fashion forward maven deciding to quit her role of co-host on E!’s Fashion Police, The Hollywood Reporter states.

A statement from the entertainment network reads:
“Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers. Fashion Police will return, as scheduled, on Friday, March 30th at 9:00 p.m. and no decisions have been made on her replacement.”

This news arrives a few days after Kelly’s co-host, Giuliana Rancic, made an insensitive comment on Zendaya’s hairstyle at the Academy Awards (Feb. 22), stating that the burgeoning actress/singer smells like “patchouli oil” or “weed.” The racist remark prompted a Twitter response from Kelly, stating, “I did not make the weed comment. I do not condone racism so as a result of this I’m seriously questioning staying on the show!”

The backlash on Rancic’s problematic wordage prompted an apology from the E! News co-anchor, to which Zendaya responded with a Martin Luther King Jr. quote.
