Kendrick Lamar Plays New Music For An Iconic Artist's Son
To hear new music from Kendrick Lamar, you either have to be in the right place at the right time, meaning the studio, or the child of a legendary artist. In this instance, the latter was the case when the "Money Trees" rapper blessed Michael Jackson's son, Prince Jackson, with an envious listening session.
The Compton native has remained tight-lipped on what to expect, or when to expect his forthcoming third studio album, but Prince took to Twitter on Wednesday (Feb. 25), to let the masses know just hold on tight, it'll be worth the wait.
“Had the great honor of meeting Kendrick and hearing some of his new tracks for his upcoming album with @RealOBee,” the 18-year-old said, revealing that Lamar's music "is on another level."

Fans have received a couple of 4-minute plays of what the Grammy Award winner has been working on from his release of the socially-charged "The Blacker The Berry" song to his electrifying and historic stage appearance on The Colbert Report with an untitled track.
No word on when the album is arriving, but TDE president Terrence "Punch" Henderson's past tweet has onlookers readying the countdown.
#1 King Kendrick's album. Can't wait for you guys to hear it.
