50 Cent Says His Son, Sire Jackson, Will Pursue A Modeling Career

Sire Jackson is barely out of potty trainers, but already he has a successful modeling career. 50 Cent recently stopped by "The Angie Martinez Show" and gushed over his two year-old son with model Daphne Joy. He tells the radio host that the toddler is already getting checks as a model and has landed his first lucrative deal with the first payment of $700,000. The contact is with Kidz Safe, the kids’ headphones brand under SMS audio, owned by 50 Cent. Sire will be the face of the outlet.

He said:

“I have so much fun with him, man; even my spirit change. I light up when I talk about him. He’s at that point where he repeats everything," he said. "He’s got a [modeling] deal now with Kidz Safe. It’s an audio company. They paid him a big payment too, $700,000. He’s super cute! You gotta pay for it."

On the topic of where the dividends will land, the Queens native said, “[The money] goes into a trust. He can’t even touch it until he turns 18. He’ll get $700,000 to be the face of the company. Already, he’s making his own money. He makes his own money. I was ready to say, ‘This is your college fund.’ But I gotta handle that part and let him have the [$700,000].”

Looks like we’ll be seeing more of baby Sire and all of his adorableness.

Slick Woods Celebrates Mom's Release from Prison

After the birth of her son Saphir in September of 2018, and making headlines after walking Rihanna's Savage x Fenty A/W Show during New York Fashion Week while in labor, Slick Woods has more reasons to celebrate now that her mother has been released from prison after 17 years.

"Cried a lot," the 5'10 model wrote on her Instagram post featuring her mother. "Me n' mom, fresh out after 17 years in prison."

Since the age of four Woods was raised by her grandmother between Los Angeles and Minneapolis, after her mother was sentenced to prison for manslaughter. Unfortunately, Woods life at the age of seven shifted bumpier after her grandmother divorced her husband and the two found themselves spending time in cars and motels. The unofficial face of Fenty eventually became homeless and was on track to what many felt was the same path as her formerly incarcerated mother.

"I was in a place where I didn't believe in anything, so I was susceptible to evil energy," Woods said in an interview with E.S. Magazine in 2018. "I'm so easily turned. It's not something I'm proud of," she continued. "And when everyone in the world is telling you that you're going to be just like your mother, and then you're behind bars..."

Thankfully for Woods, after a stint in jail of two to three months at the age of 18, she was able to choose a different path for herself, and a year later she modeled for Kanye West in Yeezy, allowing her to one day provide for her mother once she was released from prison.

"Being a gang member, everyone expected her to not be the best mum," Woods said in an interview with Elle Magazine back in 2018. "But my mum was very hands-on with me as a child. My mummy read to me in the womb," she said. "And she's proud because she knows that everybody expected me to be exactly what she was. She went to prison when she was 19. I became a model at 19. And I can take care of my mother when she gets out."

Jussie Smollett's Attorneys Deny Actor Paid $3,500 To Orchestrate Attack

Sources close to the Jussie Smollett investigation have spoken with several media outlets and allege new evidence shows the Empire actor may have orchestrated the attack, and even paid men $3,500 to go through with it.

The two men who are brothers were arrested Wednesday and released Friday (Feb. 15) without charges. Both men are cooperating fully with Chicago police, and authorities found records they purchased a rope at a local hardware store, which was used during the attack.

Smollett's attorneys, Todd S. Pugh, and Victor P. Henderson, quickly denied the claim made by authorities.

"As a victim of a hate crime who has cooperated with the police investigation, Jussie Smollett is angered and devastated by recent reports that the perpetrators are individuals he is familiar with," the statement read. "He has now been further victimized by claims attributed to these alleged perpetrators that Jussie played a role in his own attack. Nothing is further from the truth and anyone claiming otherwise is lying."

On Jan. 29, Smollett was leaving a Subway fast-food restaurant when the actor alleges to have been attacked by two men who beat him, poured bleach on him and tried to hang a rope around his neck. The 35-year-old entertainer, who identifies as gay, said one of the men shouted "This is MAGA country" as well as other racial and homophobic slurs.

Chicago Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said one of the men appeared on Empire and have past affiliation with Smollett.

During his interview with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America Thursday (Feb. 14), Smollett expressed frustration about not being believed. Sunday morning (Feb. 17) the hashtag 'JussieSmollettHoax' trended on Twitter. The Internet was split with many offering a digital "I told you so" due to the reports, while others, particularly members of the black LGBTQ community, questioning why many were quick to believe the word of law enforcement.

No idea what actually happened w/ Jussie Smollett. But do know that 4 years ago, Chicago PD spent 13 months justifying Laquan McDonald’s murder before releasing dashcam video showing he was walking away before being shot at 16x by an officer. Why are we just accepting their word?
