Immortal Man: Unreleased Music From Tupac Set To Drop Soon
Tupac's legacy continues its everlasting impact on the music industry, this time with news of unreleased songs from the "Changes" rapper set to drop in the near future, Rolling Stone reports.
The man who signed the influential artist to Interscope, Tom Whalley, said, "Some of [the material] is in bits and pieces, some of it is complete; some of it is good, some of it needs work," but nonetheless the fresh sounds are worth the listen for his fans. The posthumous tunes arrive a couple of years after the lyricist's mother, Afeni Shakur, signed a deal with JAM Inc. -- the company in charge of Michael Jackson, and Otis Redding's estates -- back in 2013, giving the entity authority over her son's musical discography.
A piece of Tupac's unreleased material has already been heard, namely on Kendrick Lamar's critically-acclaimed album To Pimp A Butterfly on the impressive track "Mortal Man."
The fresh insight from Pac will also include remixes, videos, poems, and first draft demos.
