Update: No, Kanye West’s Laptop Was Not Stolen
Nope, no one jacked Kanye West's laptop.
Kanye West has been all over lately. From sprinting across designer runways for Paris Fashion Week to debuting his “All Day” video, the Chicago native is ubiquitous.
But Yeezy’s business and (maybe) his unreleased music from his highly-anticipated So Help Me God album may just be everywhere, too. G.O.O.D. Music cohort Malik Yusef recently tweeted that Ye’s laptop was stolen, and that private investigation firms were looking into it:

UPDATE: A rep for Kanye West has confirmed that his laptop was not stolen, and that the "Awesome" leak was not related to any theft:
"The stories circulating that Kanye West’s laptop has been stolen are completely false. His laptop has never been out of his possession. Hence, the laptop has not been hacked, and there has been no leak of personal data such as unreleased music, photographs, designs, videos or any other personal files. The leak today of the unreleased track “Awesome” was unrelated and completely coincidental."
