Kendrick Lamar Goes Full-On Rock Star With A Surprise Concert On A Moving Truck

Meet Kendrick Lamar, the rock star.

Last night, the TDE rapper held a surprise concert in Hollywood. Dropping the announcement on Twitter just hours before he made his appearance, K. Dot simply shared an address for the masses to flock to.

As the crowd of people showed up, they got an even bigger spectacle than they may have anticipated, as Kendrick Lamar played his set on a moving truck, as part of Reebok’s #GETPUMPED campaign. Performing tracks such as “Money Trees” and “Alright,” the show was a celebration of the brand’s ZPump running sneaker. Todd Krinsky, vice president of Rebook Classic, released a statement on the surprise performance.

“The Reebok ZPump is our biggest product launch in recent history, and Kendrick’s new album is the most talked about release of the year,” he said. “Kendrick’s open-air, one-of-a-kind performance was the perfect celebration of ZPump.” The set also included a guest appearance by Ab-Soul.
