Like We Didn't Know: K.Dot's 'To Pimp A Butterfly' Projected To Be Number One
Despite the early release, Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly is projected to be number one and we're all like, duh! of course it is.
Eight days ahead of its intended scheduled release, Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly was welcomed by fans thankful to finally hear new music from the Compton kid.
And while projections aren't final, according to Hits Daily Double K.Dot will sell anywhere between 300,000 to 325,000 units his first week, landing the album at number one.
The projections can easily inflate, however, if these numbers are true Kendrick's latest album sold 82,000 more than his 2012 debut good kid, m.A.A.d city.
Along with having the number one album in the country, the Grammy-Award winner's TPAB also broke Spotify's records with more than 9.3 million streams (9.2 million of those streams came from the author of this post.)
Congrats to Kendrick, well deserved.
