Ludacris Calls Out The Music Industry On ‘Charge It To The Rap Game’

In between filming the souped-up race car flick Furious 7, gracing our latest digital cover, and dropping his Ludaverses series, Ludacris still finds time to release more music for his fans. Today (March 24), the rapper/actor offered up an introspective cut with “Charge It To The Rap Game.”

Over !llmind’s menacing production, Cris lets steam off his chest about the untrustworthy hip-hop biz. While Luda is known for his comical-laden lyrics, he does wax realness here. The ATL native touches on rappers stretching the truth, shady promoters, false magazine stories, hip-hop cops and other industy ills.

The song comes from Ludacris’ upcoming Ludaversal album, slated to drop April 4. The album will feature appearances by Usher, Big K.R.I.T., and Miguel, which you can pre-order on iTunes.
