Mac Miller is the latest emcee to be hit with a lawsuit.
According to TMZ, Mac Miller is being sued by Soul/Funk band, Aquarian Dream’s keyboardist, Jacques Burvick for $150,000.
Allegedly, Miller used their song “Yesterday (Was So Nice Today)” for his song “Therapy,” which was featured on his 2014 mixtape, Faces.
According to sources, Miller admitted to contacting Burvick to clear the sample, but wasn't able to reach him. Although Miller did not profit directly from the song, it received more than 700,000 downloads from Mac's site Oldjewish.com.
Looks like Mac might have to pay up.
