Clap For Her: Mo’Ne Davis Launches Sneaker Line For Impoverished Girls

Thirteen year old Mo’Ne Davis is using her stardom for good.

The first female pitcher to win a Little League World Series has teamed up with M4D3 (Make A Difference Everyday) and Because I’m A Girl to release sneakers that will help underprivileged girls.

Mo’Ne designed the kicks, which are priced at about $75, and 15 percent of that will go to support Plan International’s Because I Am a Girl initiative, which helps young girls who are less fortunate. The sneakers have exaggerated stitching to mimic baseball sneakers.

At 13 years old, Mo’Ne has won the Little League World Series, is designing sneakers and will be releasing a memoir pretty soon.

I got my eyebrows done and suddenly feel like I’m not doing enough.

Cheers to Mo’ne!
