Premiere: Red Pill ‘Rap Game Cranky’ (Video)

Hip-hop can welcome another lyrically inclined MC to the fold, and his name is Red Pill.

Today (March 5), the Michigan spitta drops off the visuals to his candid cut “Rap Game Cranky.”

Over hard drums and keyboards, Red Pill shows his instinct for delivering potent and honest details about his life — which makes for beautiful storytelling on wax.

The video meshes well with the lyrics as RP indulges in his idle lifestyle, posted in the crib getting drunk, downing slices of pizza, pulling on cancer sticks and flipping through channels on his idiot box.

“This song is my declaration of being the crankiest rapper in rap music dead or alive. Sometimes there’s nothing better than staying in, drinking heavily and making friends and family online worry about what you’ll do or say next. Shoutout to Seagram’s Gin and Diet 7UP. I could always use a sponsor.”

Be on the lookout for Red Pill’s solo album Look What This World Did To Us, slated to drop on April 7th through Mello Music Group. Pre-order the album here.
