Premiere: Rico Love Releases New Visuals For Ex-Boo Anthem, ‘Somebody Else’

Men step out with their sidepieces on the regular. But when wifey gets cuffed up by an admirer, her former boo-thing is subject to go crazy. Well, R&B singer Rico Love turned these lovelorn feelings into a new, slow jam/stripped-down visual for “Somebody Else.”

“This started off as a simple rehearsal and then I told Blackwood (my creative director) to invite some girls over and order some champagne. We turned it into a party,” he recently told VIBE. “This is how I feel whenever I perform my music – like I’m having a party. Even though this song is sad and honest, I still want to express how much I love what I do and share it with people who can appreciate it. I’m very serious about my career and I work hard at it, and I know that I’m blessed to be able to do what I love and I never want to take the fun out of it.”

Back in January, the chart climber dropped the official “Somebody Else” video. Be on the lookout for Love’s Divison 1/Interscope debut LP, Turn The Lights On
