Wale And J.Cole Offer Hope On ‘The Pessimist’

With just days before the release of Wale’s upcoming project, The Album About Nothing, the locked-up emcee drops “The Pessimist” featuring J.Cole, who holds down the song’s hook.

Fittingly, the track commences with words of wisdom from Seinfeld. Once the drum roll kicks in, Folarin unloads a list of aggravations including  poor schools, VH-1’s Love And Hip-Hop: Atlanta and emcees stuntin’ on for the culture.

Based on the DMV native’s Festivus mixtape, “The Pessimist,” on Wale’s upcoming LP may be his best yet.
