Chris Brown May Have To Pay Up For Alleged Basketball Assault Case
Breezy will reportedly settle an alleged assault case from last year.
You may not have to do the time, but you’ll have to pay a lot for the crime.
Stemming from an 2014 assault case that started from a foul called during a basketball game, Chris Brown is reportedly looking to pay up to four figures in “nuisances charges.”
Although the singer hasn’t been asked to pay a specific amount, sources say Brown and three members of his entourage allegedly assaulted Malcolm Ausbon during a basketball game at a 24-Hour Fitness center in Los Angeles last year.
Ausbon then reportedly sued Brown and gang for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence. Sources also report that Ausbon was immediately sent to the hospital after suffering injuries to his face, neck, head, back, ribs and legs.
Brown has just been released from probation following domestic violence charges with on and off again gal pal Rihanna, so paying out of this one doesn’t seem like such a bad idea.
