The Daddies Club: Jamie Foxx, Tyrese And Bow Wow Show Support For Chris Brown
Chris Brown gets a warm welcome to the daddies club.
Father’s Day is about to be lit for Chris Brown. Fresh off of sharing his first photos of his daughter Royalty, the singer has rallied support from his friends. Also, ironically, fathers of daughters, Jamie Foxx, Tyrese and Bow Wow all congratulated Breezy on his new journey through fatherhood.
During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Foxx shared that he witnessed Brown in full daddy mode, and that it was a sight to see. He also praised the 25-year-old singer – who collaborated with him on his new single “You Changed Me” – for his more intimate moments that the masses don’t get to see.
“I hope he doesn’t mind me saying this; I just saw Chris Brown with his little daughter backstage. It was absolutely mind-blowing,” he told Kimmel. “It was something that I just went – tears for everybody. When people ask me about this situation, or why Chris is on my record; I’ve known Chris since he was 15. And some of the things that people don’t get a chance to see Chris on the inside – like when he dances with my sister, who has Down’s syndrome at the crib for hours and no one sees that. It’s some really blessful things that this kid has to offer.”
Immediately following Brown’s first Instagram post of Royalty, Bow Wow took to Twitter with message. Noting that he and his “bro” are both fathers of little girls, the rapper/actor welcomed him to the club – but made is clear that he wouldn’t babysit.
“I’m proud of you boy, good way to step up. Welcome to daddyhood,” he said. “We both got daughters, it’s crazy. And I ain’t babysitting neither, man. Shai is enough, she enough. But, I salute you my brother. Glad you stepping up to the plate and doing the right thing. When I saw that post, it touched me bro. Salute, real ones since day one; you know what time it is.”

Tyrese also took to Instagram with encouraging words for Brown. Urging him to take advantage of fatherhood as an opportunity to inspire other young fathers, as well as prioritize in his personal and business relationships:
“Chris my bro! Use this moment - Use this God given stage to give other young kings permission to get more involved with their kids.... Young Fathers who look UP to you will say ( #Breezy is proudly involved with his daughter so what the hell am I doing ).?? Rather planned or not- it was ULTIMATELY in GODS plan for#Royal to be here.... You have no idea how much literally EVERYTHING changed for me when I was blessed with my angel Shayla Gibson.... She's my boss, she's my bottom line, so many people were CLEARED OUT because everything changed after she got here! , managers, agents, lawyers who were NOT on their A-Game GONE! Every so called friends that was in my face and stabbing me in my back..... GONE!!! Before she got here I didn't realize how much sh*t I use to tolerate and put up with! I would put UP with it all..... Then suddenly I realized theirs an expiration date on LOYALTY I BOLDLY and unapologetically cleared out ALL THINGS PEOPLE AND SITUATIONS that no longer belong...because keeping them here would directly effect my daughter.... I got love for people.... But I love NO one like I love my daughter so they had to GO!!! Chris.... My brother Everything is going to change.... Everything is going to change..... I repeat... Everything is going to change....... People are in your life for a reason, others are there for a SEASON and its important to recognize when people SEASONS are OVER!!!!!! You can't walk into the new SEASON of your life with DEAD WEIGHT.... It will weigh you down and ultimately STOP you from reaching your goals and tapping into higher levels of happiness.... It's not about you anymore, everything we DO, SAY, everyone that we ALLOW to stay around us, every deal offer you accept, will directly effect your daughter..... The #UnexpectedAngel
Congratulation to you and your little princess -#RoyalKing #BigBroMoment #SundayMentalSupper"
If one thing is clear, it’s that Chris Brown will have plenty of people to help him down his new fatherhood road.
"Chris never denied the baby was his," a source said to E! News. "So it's not like the photo he posted is him admitting anything. He always accepted it. He's just becoming a lot more public about it."
