Manny Pacquiao And Floyd Mayweather Fight Night Tickets Will Go On Sale Today
Here's how to snag tickets to Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather's May 2 fight.
Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather are getting ready to rumble for their blockbuster fight in Las Vegas on May 2. Despite all the hooplah surrounding the highly anticipated bout, a deal has finally been struck to put tickets on sale. After trying to finesse fight night details including ticket shares and hotel rooms, both camps came to an agreement on a site contract for the MGM Resorts in Las Vegas, where the "Fight of the Century" is set to take place.
"There was a craze for tickets and under our agreement with Mayweather Promotions, we felt we were being deprived of our fair share of the tickets (from) the standpoint of number and location," Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum Arum told CNN.
"It was very, very important to my fighter Manny Pacquiao, to the Philippines people...," Arum continued. "Manny has friends and family like you can't believe -- that will be in account for 800 or 900 tickets themselves."
Pacman made it clear just how significant the fight would be after stopping by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to consult Dr. Phil. When asked why he's taking on the Money Team captain, Pacquiao joked, "Yeah, because I am being paid millions of millions of millions of millions of dollars." Dr. Phil's response: "Well, in that case, just go beat the shit out of him."
