Pharrell Williams' Documentary 'The Plastic Age' To Focus On Cleaning The Ocean Of Non-Biodegradable Waste

There's a dire crisis happening in our oceans that involves the bottle of water or juice you're probably drinking right now.

In association with i-D, Pharrell Williams and director Jake Sumner have teamed up to shed light on this environmental situation in a new documentary titled "The Plastic Age." According to the website, there's an estimated 700 million tons of plastic waste in the Pacific Ocean. Plastic's inability to decompose such as other elements like glass or metal has made this product a hassle for creatures under the water, thus affecting the food that we consume.

Part of the doc's efforts, and the parties involved, will seek to clean areas that are affected, and highlight RAW for the Oceans' initiative along with G-Star RAW, Bionic Yarn, and Parley for the Oceans.

Ahead of its premiere date on April 15, check out the trailer below.

Reports Emerge Claiming Jussie Smollett "Rehearsed" Alleged Attack

TMZ reports that Empire actor Jussie Smollett, who claimed in late-January that he was attacked by MAGA supporters, reportedly rehearsed the alleged assault with the two men involved. According to prosecutors, his alleged racial and homophobic attack will be headed to a grand jury next week.

Per the site, "Abel and Ola Osundairo told cops they got in a car with Jussie and scouted a location, settling on the one right outside the actor's apartment. The brothers said Jussie chose the spot because he believed a camera would have captured the action."

The sources close the the situation said that Jussie reportedly wanted to make the attack a "physical thing," but did not want to be seriously injured. While Jussie left the scene with just a scratch, the brothers- who are Nigerian, and not white- did not know they left a mark on him, as that's not what they had rehearsed.

"On the night Jussie says he was attacked, the brothers claim they showed up at the scene but were extremely nervous because, just as they played out the scene, a car drove by and they were worried they'd be ID'd," the site continues.

Smollett released a statement through representatives vehemently denying the allegations that he orchestrated the attack, maintaining his original story.

Kenan Thompson Says Kel Mitchell Will Appear In Revamped 'All That' Series

Pretty much everyone who was a fan of 90s Nickelodeon staple All That was thrilled to hear Kenan Thompson's role of executive producer in the revamped series. Now more great news has arrived as the comedian shared that Kel Michell will also return to the sketch comedy show.

Speaking with Page Six at the Writers Guild Awards Sunday (Feb. 16), Thompson shared his hopes to bridge the gap between the original cast and new members.

“Whoever’s down to [come to] do it, we would love to have them in my opinion,” Thompson said. “I know Kel [Mitchell’s] coming back, and I remember working close [sic] with Josh Server as well. I think all the old cast members should come support the new cast members. That’s just how it should go.”

Before their spinoff Kenan and Kel, the two were golden on All That with skits joint skits like Good Burger and solo characters Pierre Escargot and Repairman.

So far, things seemed to be going Thompson's way. Former All That alum  Danny Tamberelli also told Page Six he was thrilled to hear about the revival.

“I think it’s awesome!” Tamberelli said."All That was a show that reached out to so many kids from all different backgrounds and brought them all together through laughter.”

Tamberelli was apart of seasons four through six and was also one of the main character's on Nick's other enjoyable series, Pete and Pete.

Vandal Decapitates Diddy's Statue At Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

Diddy's Madame Tussauds wax statue was vandalized over the weekend, leaving everyone wondering why.

The New York Daily News reports the strange incident took place just before 9pm on Saturday (Feb. 16), when an unnamed suspect arrived at the Times Square location. The vandal then headed to the A-List Party Room section of the museum where the wax statue stood and knocked it the ground. The force was reportedly so hard, the statue's head fell off.

“An unidentified male pushed it to the ground causing the head to be decapitated from the body,” a New York Police spokesman said. The perpetrator was described as a man in a black hooded jacket with blue jeans.

According to NBC New York, before knocking down fake Diddy, he yelled at the music mogul's statue and stomped on the head, fleeing the scene shortly after. There are currently no suspects in custody nor are there any clear motives linking the act of aggression to the 49-year-old.

In a statement to the Associated Press, Madame Tussauds New York says their artists will fix the damage "as quickly as possible" to get the figure back to the museum’s A-List Party Room.

Combs originally attended the statues reveal in 2009 when it debuted in New York City.
