Taylor Swift's Shorty Awards Acceptance Speech Proves She's An Undercover Rapper
Taylor Swift unearths her T-Swizzle rap persona with "Shorty Wanna Ride" at the Shorty Awards.
Who knew Taylor Swift was such a fan of rap music? During this year's installment of the annual Shorty Awards, which recognizes content celebrities and organizations post on social media, Swift took home the trophy for “Best Singer.”
Although she wasn’t able to accept the award in person, the "Shake It Off" singer said her quirky thank you speech via video. After expressing her concerns for accepting a shorty award while being 5’11" and thanking her fans, she stamped her sincere appreciation with a line from Young Buck's "Shorty Wanna Ride."
This isn’t the first time Swift has immersed herself into rap culture. Remember when she got turnt up to Kendrick’s "Backstreet Freestyle"?
...Or the "Thug Story" song she did with T-Pain. T- Swizzle in the building!
