Tinashe Addresses Parting Ways With Iggy Azalea On 'Hot 97'

Tinashe stopped by Hot 97 for music, rumors and girl talk.

Tinashe is making her rounds before heading out on tour with Nicki Minaj. The "2 On" songstress stopped by Hot 97 rocking a new 'do, ditching the blonde hair for black cornrows, to talk about her ideal guy, rumored beef with Iggy Azalea, and which artists she thinks is better in the industry.

On Iggy "beef":
“I was initially confirmed to go on tour with Iggy this summer, and I was super excited about it. I was me and Nick Jonas, and then she postponed the tour. So totally unrelated, I didn’t even know about the Nick Minaj tour yet. The tour was already postponed and I already had prior commitments in the fall and I wasn’t able to go on tour with her [Iggy] in the fall (which was when it postponed). I couldn’t do the tour, so we had to part ways, so after that happened coincidently I got the Nicki Minaj offer.”

Note: Tinashe will be on tour with Rae Sremmurd, Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj, and more, but she says there is no beef between her and Iggy Azalea.

On the ideal guy:

When it comes to dating around, Tinashe ain’t got time for that. But when she does he has to have these traits: understanding of her career, something going for himself, a cool, laid back personality, tough skin for social media, taller than (5'4") and must be in shape.

On who she’d rather listen to:

Drake or Chris Brown? "Chris Brown."

Mariah Carey or Janet Jackson? "Janet all day."

Rihanna or Beyonce? "Oh, Queen Bey."

Jay Z or Kanye West? "Kanye."

Iggy Azalea or Nicki Minaj? "Probably Nicki."

Sam Smith or Adelle? "Adelle."

A$AP Rocky or Schoolboy Q? "Schoolboy Q."
